These versatile flowers can be planted in flower beds & borders but also look great potted around the patio. Their heritage lies deep within the rainforest which means they don’t worry about shaded areas.
The Begonia Plant - Luxurians is a must have plant to bring a more exotic aesthetic to your garden. With luscious green and bronze coloured leaves, this begonia looks fantastic potted up in decorative pots around your patio, with the leaves cascading down the side. Complimenting the amazing leaves are the very beautiful white flowers that have the most amazing scent.
The Begonia Plant - Luxurians can also be grown as a houseplant, so you can enjoy the beautiful scent of these flowers all through your home too.
<h3>Looking after your Begonia Plant - Luxurians </h3>
<p>If you’re as excited as we are and want them ASAP then the extra value plugs can be planted as early as March. Alternatively, if you’re late to the game the Garden Ready plugs can have your flower beds looking great by May, ready for summer! Height 20cm (8").</p>
Place your Begonia in a bright spot that is not in direct sunlight – an east or west-facing windowsill is ideal. Water regularly but avoid overwatering or letting the plant sit in water. Aim the water directly onto the compost, avoiding splashing the leaves as much as possible. Feed fortnightly between May and September with a plant food that is high in potassium (for cane-types where abundant flowering is most important) or high in nitrogen (for rex-type or foliage varieties). Reduce watering in winter, allowing the surface of the compost to begin to dry out before watering again. In winter keep your begonias above a minimum temperature of 13°C. Plants can be brought outside in summer once night temperature reliably exceeds this.
