Senior Photographer
Position: Full time, permanent position- Monday to Friday
Location: Hybrid Role, with 50% of time in the office in Ipswich, Suffolk

We generate over 2 million orders per year via our website, catalogues, printed media, online marketplaces, and home shopping TV channels.
Job Description:
We're in search of a skilled photographer, with experience of producing high quality content for marketing purposes, and whose portfolio of work that demonstrates their expertise and keen eye for detail.
Working in a fast-paced environment the ideal candidate must have recent expertise of end-to-end production in both photography and videography projects, ideally with experience of working in both studio and on-site locations. An excellent communicator you must enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team, and have the confidence to work independently.
This is a hybrid working role, with half the week to be spent at our site in Ipswich, Suffolk. In addition, the role will involve ad-hoc travel to sites in both the UK and Europe, particularly through the summer months when we require plant photography at horticultural trial grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the end-to-end production of high quality photography and videography to support the company’s marketing activities
- Producing both product and content imagery for use in marketing materials, ecommerce, marketplaces, social media and tv shopping channels
- To manage production timelines, working collaboratively with key stakeholders and taking into account the window when live plants are looking at their best
- To complete post-production, including the cleaning up of images using photoshop, editing of video, and then filing within the company’s DAM system
- Coordinate resources, products, casting and all logistical aspects of shoot production
- Research and source images from libraries and suppliers where required
- Line management responsibilities for the company’s Junior Photographer
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Proven experience and portfolio as a photographer and videographer
- Proficiency with Photoshop in post-production
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing
- Excellent communication skills and receptive to feedback
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- UK Driving License
- Passport valid for European travel
Desirable:
- Previous horticultural photography experience, or a passion for plants
- Proven experience creating content for social media

This is a full time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, however a willingness work longer days when required is essential.

B2B Sales Director
Position: Full time, permanent position- Monday to Friday

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and results-led Sales Director to head up our B2B Sales division.
Reporting to the CEO you will have full P&L responsibility for the B2B division, creating and executing the strategic plans which will see the business grow market share within a competitive environment. You will provide leadership to the management team and work collaboratively to drive profitable growth, maintain the highest standards across the business, and provide industry leading customer service. You will be expected to win new business, develop the existing sales team and oversee back-office support functions.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and achieve B2B sales targets, maximising profitability both through further development of the existing customer base as well as new sales opportunities.
- Develop new sales channels, products and customers ensuring the growth of our share of the market within UK garden centres and multiples.
- Developing and ensuring implementation of B2B marketing strategies while ensuring our brands global market position, exploring potential profitable export markets.
- Prepare, present, monitor & review B2B sales budgets, including sales reforecast as required, monitoring margin performance, analysing as required.
- As a Senior Manager for the business, the role holder would be expected to ensure all team members, processes and procedures add value to the business, contributing to its profitability and success.
- Attend and take an active part in Executive meetings.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A commercial mindset with strong management skills.
- Experience with dealing with multiples and large accounts winning new business and selling products into retailers.
- Personality traits to include a blend of professionalism, high emotional intelligence, authenticity and a passion for sales and developing people.
