The ideal planting time for fruit trees ranges from December through until early spring when warming soils provide for rapid root growth without depleting the energy reserves of the trees. Our aim is to send you a top-quality product and we despatch our bare root trees at the optimum time for planting. This year’s marvellous summer resulted in ideal conditions for superb growth in our fruit tree nurseries, with the long, mild autumn helping to initiate very good fruit bud development for future years. We are just starting to lift the stock ready to send out to customers.
