Dahlia Yellow Duo contains the following varieties:
- Dahlia 'Yellow Star' - A vibrant Cactus dahlia that ensures a touch of sunshine in the garden even on a cloudy day! The large spiked flowers sit proudly on top of lush green foliage, for an unmissable display in sunny borders and large patio containers. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 50cm (20").
- Dahlia ‘Wanda's Capella’ – Large buttery yellow blooms that measure up to 30cm (12") diameter. Height: 120cm (48"). Spread: 60cm (24").
This dahlia duo is great for providing vibrant colours in your garden at the all through summer. Both are a favourite for cottage garden borders or planted in large containers. Both varieties make a lovely addition to beds and borders and also make fabulous cut flowers for summer bouquets. Plant Dahlia tubers outdoors in April after all risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny position in moist well drained soil. Prepare the soil by digging in plenty of well rotted manure or compost. Plant tubers at a depth of 15cm (6") and water well. Alternatively, start tubers into growth in pots of compost in a frost free greenhouse. Transplant them into their final positions outdoors in June.
