Enjoy a beautiful bonanza of bulbs this spring! This collection of six different bulb varieties will have your garden springing into life after the winter gloom. The eager anticipation of spring colour, as bulbs push through the soil in late winter, is one of the great joys of the garden year. Not only are these bulbs beautiful, but they are also perennial, providing you with uplifting colour not just this spring but for many springs to come. This versatile selection includes bulbs which will perform superbly in containers, borders and naturalised in grass.

Bulb Spring Bonanza contains 187 bulbs, comprising the following varieties:

  • Tulip 'Everlasting Mixture' (16 bulbs) - a mixture of truly perennial tulips which reliably re-flower year after year. Blooming from early April, the sturdy flowers have superb weather resistance and will continue for longer than most garden varieties. The bold colours and strong upright stems make this mix particularly good for cutting. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 15cm (6"). Bulb size: 11/12.
  • Ipheion Mix (25 bulbs) - Clumps of bright green foliage emerge in the autumn followed by an abundance of colourful star-shaped flowers in spring. The flowers have a delightfully sweet honey fragrance. Ideal for borders and patio containers where these easy to grow bulbs will provide you with a delightful spring display. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 5cm (2").
  • Hyacinth 'Berries and Cream Mixture' (16 bulbs)- a harmonious blend of rose, violet, pink and pale lavender, instead of the usual shades of blue and purple. Perfect for filling beds, borders and containers with a riot of spring blooms and that characteristic, heady, hyacinth fragrance. Bulb size 16/17. Height: 25cm (10"). Spread: 8cm. (3").
  • Snowdrop Giant, Galanthus elwesii (20 Bulbs) - a striking giant snowdrop which bears the largest snowdrop flowers, up to 2.5cm long with a beautiful honey fragrance. Loves to shelter in dappled shade at the base of trees and shrubs, but looks equally at home in an alpine garden, or naturalised in grass. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 10cm (4").
  • Puschkinia libanotica (100 bulbs) - the Russian Snowdrop, also known as the Lebanon Striped Squill. Gleaming white blooms are produced in dense clusters, each brightly striped with pale blue. Grow them in borders and rockeries or naturalise them in grass. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 10cm (4").
  • Iris ‘Eyecatcher’ (10 bulbs) -White petals heavily patterned with rich blue and a yellow stripe. This charming dwarf iris is perfect for pots, rockeries, between paving and front of border. Height: 20cm (8").Spread 8cm (3").

Live Plants

Dobies strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.

Non Standard Deliveries

Unfortunately like many companies in our industry we are currently only able to supply orders to UK based customers, excluding those in Northern Ireland. We are committed to finding a way that we can resume or normal services again as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvience caused.

Prices include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to contact you and advise an additional charge where necessary and are happy to quote for carriage of specific products to more remote areas. Some items may not be available to all areas.

We reserve the right to revise any carriage charges in the event of carrier price increase or other unforeseen circumstances. We will always advise of the carriage charge before payment is taken.

All Dobies products should reach you in perfect condition, just as they left us. If you are dissatisfied in any way with their condition on arrival, please let us know within 14 days. We are only liable for the cost of the goods as quoted on the website plus the cost of delivery if the goods are faulty.

Unlike many companies, we publish all of our reviews - good or bad - to give you, the customer, total transparency and peace of mind.
