This selection of nine dahlias features a captivating variety of double, cactus, and pompom blooms, creating a striking display of textures and forms. These long-flowering dahlias add vibrant colour to borders or containers from late summer until the first frosts. Their strong stems also mean they make an excellent choice for stunning cut flower arrangements that will add glamour to any home.

- Dahlia ‘Lilac Time’ – Dinner plate dahlia with huge lilac-purple blooms carried on dark stems.
- Dahlia ‘Smiling Don’ – Double decorative dahlia with hot pink petals bearing a white stripe down the centre.
- Dahlia ‘Cornel’ - Spherical, deep red blooms create a strong architectural presence.
- Dahlia ‘Romantica’ – Decorative dahlia with flowers around 10cm in diameter. The edges of the petals are blushed rich magenta, fading into paler pink. Each flower is enhanced with a deep burgundy heart.
- Dahlia ‘Fuzzy Wuzzy’ – Bi-coloured pompom dahlia. Densely petalled blooms in rose pink, the edges of the petals dipped in white and displaying distinctive crimped margins that adds interesting texture to the display.
- Dahlia ‘Jowey Paradise’ – Very striking double decorative dahlia. Cerise-red petals with white, distinctively crimped edges paint a bold contrast.
- Dahlia ‘Sandra’ – Dainty, ball-shaped dahlia in rose-pink with slightly paler edges to the petals.
- Dahlia ‘Rip City’ - Cactus type with velvety, deep maroon flowers with a black heart.
- Dahlia ‘Sweet Surprise’ – Exceptionally pretty decorative dahlia with lilac flowers that fade to soft lavender-pink.
Nine varieties of double, cactus, and pompom blooms in a passionate blend of reds, lavenders and pink create a striking display of colours, textures and forms. Plant Dahlia tubers outdoors in April after all risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny position in moist well drained soil. Prepare the soil by digging in plenty of well rotted manure or compost. Plant tubers at a depth of 15cm (6") and water well. Alternatively, start tubers into growth in pots of compost in a frost free greenhouse. Transplant them into their final positions outdoors in June.
