Clematis 'Nelly Moser'

‘Nelly Moser’ is a beautiful new Clematis that is ready to bloom from May until July. It produces masses of pink striped flowers, that each feature a rich maroon centre. They cloak a vigorous, yet compact growing habit of fresh green foliage and add vibrancy wherever placed. Perfect for planting in patio pots and cottage gardens, keep positioned in partial shade and enjoy watching it grow to a height of 300cm, along with a spread of 100cm. Clematis 'Nelly Moser' is arguably the most distinctive variety of Old Man's Beard. Its delicate, pale pink flowers with their distinctive darker stripe are sure to turn heads in spring, then again in September. What's more, there's more drama when the flowers are over, thanks to their distinguished seed heads. When planting clematis, choose a position in sun or semi-shade and plant the climber deeply in moist, fertile, well drained soil. Clematis 'Nelly Moser' makes an excellent variety for a north facing position given that the flowers tend to fade when it is planted in full sun.
