Studies have shown that houseplants can help to promote a restful environment in the bedroom, improve air quality and enhance mood. Grow in bright, indirect light in average room temperatures of 18C (65F) - 24C (75F). Do not allow temperatures to fall below 12C (55F). Avoid positioning close to cold draughts and radiators. Water freely between spring and autumn allowing the pot to drain well after each watering. In winter, reduce watering, but do not allow the compost to dry out. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth.
