Delight in the vibrant beauty of Iris flowers not just in spring and early summer, but well into autumn with our Reblooming Iris Autumn Collection. This exceptional selection extends the flowering season, featuring classic varieties that bloom in May and June, followed by modern varieties that offer a second burst of colour in September. We've curated a stunning colour palette, from the warm, unique bronze hues of Iris 'Grand Chief' to the striking, striped petals of Iris 'Autumn Circus'. These majestic bearded irises create a dramatic focal point in sunny borders and, even when not in bloom, their tall, blue-green, sword-shaped foliage adds vertical interest to your garden. Ideal for cutting, their bold flowers make them a fantastic choice for floral arrangements, enhancing your summer bouquets. The Iris Reblooming Autumn Collection includes the following varieties: Iris 'Lent A Williamson' – A tall, vigorous iris with large, richly coloured flowers carried on sturdy branching stems. Violet standards and royal purple falls with bold veining at the throat, complemented by an orange-yellow beard. Known for its strength and profuse blooming since 1918. Flowers: May-June Height: 70-85cm (28-33in) | Spread: 40cm (16in) Iris 'Little Mary Sunshine' – A cheerful iris with luminous, sunshine-yellow standards that blend softly into white falls with yellow edges. The bright yellow beard adds to its warmth and radiance. Flowers: May-June Height: 70cm (28in) | Spread: 40cm (16in) Iris 'Grand Chief' – A richly coloured iris with tangerine-orange standards and velvety bronze falls that carry subtle purple tones. Finished with a bold orange beard, this variety stands out in any garden. Flowers: May-June Height: 65cm (26in) | Spread: 40cm (16in) Iris 'Autumn Circus' – A dramatic, eye-catching variety with large, ruffled blooms featuring purple veining that bleeds from the edges against a white backdrop. Pale blue to white beards complete the look. It’s a prolific bloomer, offering flowers in May-June and a second flush in autumn. Flowers: May-June + second flush in autumn Height: 85cm (33in) | Spread: 40cm (16in) Iris 'Autumn Encore' – This variety has royal purple standards with a white base and falls that feature royal purple to maroon veining and stippling, with a distinctive purple stripe down the centre of each petal. White beards tipped with yellow complete the look. A strong bloomer, producing flowers in both May-June and September. Flowers: May June + second flush in September Height: 90cm (35in) | Spread: 40cm (16in) These irises not only add stunning colour to your garden but also ensure a long season of beautiful blooms. Perfect for sunny borders, cutting gardens, and adding drama to floral displays. A stunning collection of richly coloured bearded iris that includes both traditional May-June flowerers and newer varieties that offer a second flush in September. A sunny position in well drained soil is ideal for growing iris. Bearded iris prefer an open position where the rhizomes can bake in the summer sun, without being shaded by other plants. These perennials require a very free draining soil, so amend heavy clay soils with plenty of grit and well rotted manure prior to planting. When planting Iris, ensure that the rhizome sits just at the soil surface as they are prone to rot if planted too deeply.

Live Plants

Dobies strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.

Non Standard Deliveries

Unfortunately like many companies in our industry we are currently only able to supply orders to UK based customers, excluding those in Northern Ireland. We are committed to finding a way that we can resume or normal services again as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvience caused.

Prices include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to contact you and advise an additional charge where necessary and are happy to quote for carriage of specific products to more remote areas. Some items may not be available to all areas.

We reserve the right to revise any carriage charges in the event of carrier price increase or other unforeseen circumstances. We will always advise of the carriage charge before payment is taken.

All Dobies products should reach you in perfect condition, just as they left us. If you are dissatisfied in any way with their condition on arrival, please let us know within 14 days. We are only liable for the cost of the goods as quoted on the website plus the cost of delivery if the goods are faulty.

Unlike many companies, we publish all of our reviews - good or bad - to give you, the customer, total transparency and peace of mind.
